A former director of Sofa (which later rebranded as the PFS) has unveiled his new website shortly after rebranding his advisory firm.

Gary Jefferies, managing director of Kent-based Panoramic Wealth Management, changed the firm’s name with the FCA on 16 October from H&D Wealth (TW Ltd), and said the new website aimed to reflect the aims of the rebranded firm.

He said Panoramic Wealth Management wanted to reach all levels of society, including younger clients who may just be starting on their financial planning journey.

Mr Jefferies said that on the website “we have tried to focus on the client’s requirements and their needs rather than being heavy on the ‘about us’ section and making sure all our qualifications are listed”.

The website will incorporate a form of robo-advice. Mr Jefferies said: “We will look at robo-advice, so people can get started on the investment savings ladder.”

Before September this year, the firm had been an appointed representative of Kent-based H&D Wealth.

Adviser view

James Priday, director of Devon-based Prydis Wealth, has said there were not specific regulatory barriers preventing more advisers from moving online. His simplified advice service is set to launch this month on his online investment platform Strawberry Invest.

He said: “Once we have established how people are interacting with Strawberry’s service, we could hire advisers within Strawberry who are doing that as their role.”
