Octopus continues wealth management drive

Octopus Investments has made another strategic partnerships manager appointment to help its push into the wealth management market.

The firm, which focuses on areas including property, healthcare, energy and smaller company investing, has appointed Lotfi Ladjemi to help develop its relationships with private banks and wealth managers.

The appointment of Mr Ladjemi, who joins from fundraising and advisory boutique Draycott Capital, comes after Tim Lambert joined the strategic partnerships team from Parallel Capital in November.

Steve Skelding, head of wealth management at Octopus, said: “We’re absolutely committed to becoming the partner of choice for wealth managers as we see increased demand from high net worths and family offices for tax efficient investments on the back of the latest pension reforms.”

Before Draycott Capital, Mr Ladjemi worked as a sales director for Amundi Asset Management.
