Sesame Bankhall Group has appointed Mark Graves as sales director to its senior team.

The company said Mr Graves will report to executive chairman John Cowan and will join the committee. He will work with SBG managing director Stephen Gazard on the group’s propositions across its three advisory brands.

Mr Graves, who has 20 years’ industry experience, has worked at LSL for 10 years in senior roles, including leading the Pink Network. He was also managing director of Mortgages Direct and set up his own mortgage business, Linear Mortgage Network, in 2003.

John Cowan, executive chairman of Sesame Bankhall Group, said: “Mr Graves has built a strong and successful track record based on his close working relationship with adviser firms. It was clear from our first meeting that he is the ideal person with the right credentials to further strengthen our experienced executive team. We are thrilled that Mark has agreed to join us and help to quickly put our plans into action.”

Background:

September saw a senior reshuffle at Sesame Bankhall Group, following the completion of its strategic review. This saw the exit of mortgages managing director John Cupis. In October SBG’s Lisa Martin left the group to become development director at LSL’s financial services business.
