Stonebridge takes on three new advice firms

Mortgage and insurance network Stonebridge Group has recruited three advice firms from the Legal & General network.

The three firms - The Premier Network, Mansfield Begbie and Premier Mortgage Services (Nottingham) Ltd - joined Stonebridge as AR firms, meaning the network now has 196 firms under its umbrella, with 394 individual advisers.

Richard Adams, managing director of Stonebridge Group, said: “Our recruitment levels have been strong throughout the year and we still have a significant pipeline of firms and individuals who are being approved prior to joining us.

“It is particularly heartening to see firms recognising where we stand out from the current network crowd and the focus we have on business development across a number of sectors.

“This year has certainly been a landmark year for Stonebridge and we have many plans and propositions to launch over the next 12 months.”

Stonebridge has 30 advisers in the process of being approved before officially joining the network.

Background

Stonebridge Group was launched in 1988 as an independent brokerage which evolved by building an infrastructure model to improve the businesses of its partners.

In November 2010 the Essex-based company changed its FSA permissions to become a network with 60 appointed representatives.
