Darlington gets into the giving spirit

The 10 branches of the Darlington Building Society acted as collection points for the TFM Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal in December.

The branches - Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Guisborough, Redcar, Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, Northallerton, Cockerton and Yarm - accepted new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged zero to 18 years.

The appeal aimed to ensure that up to 40,000 disadvantaged children across the North East had at least one gift to open on Christmas morning.
