Financial technology firm Iress has unveiled a new advice module for its XPlan Mortgage solution.
The new module, an extension to the company’s Mortgage Sourcing (Trigold) Module, is aimed at enabling advisers to gather all relevant information and manage each individual case in a single, connected system.
The more notable additions include a dashboard summary of the case, client and activity, as well as record of suitability, allowing advisers and their clients to track and understand the advice given.
The XPlan Mortgage solution was launched at the end of July, part of Iress’s multi-million pound investment programme in its UK mortgage product offering across advice, research and application processing.
Andrew Simon, executive general product manager at Iress, said: “We are dedicated to continually strengthening our products to give advisers the functionality they need to run their businesses. They told us they wanted efficient and accessible solutions available anywhere and on any device, and this is precisely what our new XPlan Mortgage product delivers.
“The new Advice Module works seamlessly with the existing sourcing module to give intermediaries the flexibility of anytime, anywhere access to clients’ cases and mortgage sourcing.
Paul Dorward, principal for Sheffield-based PAD Financial, said: “We use a CRM system called 360 Lifecycle and Twenty7Tec. Anything that keeps your clients’ information in one place and prompts you to take action is a good thing.”
