Axa delivers equipment to Indian health centre

Employees from Axa and Axa Assistance have been raising money to restore unused or discarded equipment from hospitals across the world and install them in an Indian health centre.

The project, part of the Axa Solimed (solidarity/medical) programme, was officially launched in the country on 10 February, providing much-needed equipment to a community health centre in Khimsar, India.

In 2015, Mike Kellard, chief executive for Axa Wealth, raised money for the programme through the Axa Wealth cycling challenge. So far Axa employees have raised more than €60,000 (£46,000) towards it.
