Morningstar UK research head Beckwith to exit

Morningstar’s director of UK manager research Jeremy Beckwith is to leave the company in April after 18 months in the role.

He will be replaced at the ratings agency by Jonathan Miller, currently head of research at publishing house Citywire.

Mr Beckwith joined Morningstar in November 2014, having previously been best known for an eight-year spell at Kleinwort Benson between 2003 and 2011.

Mr Miller, who will join Morningstar in May, will lead the firm’s team of London-based analysts responsible for rating around 500 funds.

Christopher Traulsen, Morningstar’s director of manager research, Emea, said of the hire: “He will be a key member of our global research team and pivotal in helping shape the future direction of our investment analysis.”

”[Mr Beckwith] has done a great job leading our team and further expanding our presence in the UK market...we appreciate his contributions to Morningstar and wish him all the very best for his future endeavours.”
