Equiniti takes 2 to grow business

Pension administrator Equiniti has made two hires on its business development side, with Stuart Tragheim as director, and Andy Milburn as manager in their pension solutions division.

Stuart will be responsible for developing new partnerships with pension providers and reinsurers for Equiniti, and Andy will develop Equiniti’s ‘at retirement’ relationships with financial organisations in the UK and Ireland.

Jupiter has appointed Dermot Murphy as assistant fund manager on UK value strategies, supporting Ben Whitmore in the management of his UK value-orientated strategies. He was previously an equities analyst on the Jupiter UK Special Situations fund and the Jupiter Income Trust for two years after joining Jupiter from Fidelity.

Baring Asset Management has hired Brian Mangwiro director of fixed income and currency research, based in London. Mr Mangwiro joins Barings from RBS Global Banking & Markets.

Schroders has strengthened its global multi-sector team with new hire James Lindsay-Fynn, who joins as a portfolio manager focusing on rates and currencies. Mr Lindsay-Fynn joins Schroders from Rogge Global Partners, where he was a partner and a global macro portfolio manager specialising in interest rates and currencies for global portfolios, and co-managed fixed income total return, global aggregate and government strategies.
