Much was made last week of the strong female presence at the Association of British Insurers conference, which was held at the Grange City hotel in London.
At one point, a top female BBC interviewer: Sara Montague was grilling a female pensions minister on her attitute to pension Isas, while Joanne Segars, chief executive of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings association was on stage following a keynote address from the female New Zealand retirement commissioner, Diane Maxwell.
Heavens, there was even a queue for the ladies bathroom – unheard of at these events. Has the revolution finally happened?
