We have a giant among us – a man who has worked tirelessly for the advice industry in general and advisers specifically.

He has also had the end consumers’ interests at heart to deliver quality financial advice to them throughout their lives. He meets endlessly with those at the helm of our industry to help shape its future and move forward to improve it for all involved. He is a modest man who gives kindness and true attention to all he meets.

He has made enough money from our industry to be able to retire many years ago, yet chooses to fight on for the benefit of all. In the days of royal recognition given to those who can merely sing or kick a bag of leather around, we should campaign for overdue honours. I personally would like to be able to salute properly this Huddersfield Giant. I am, of course talking about Ken Davy.
