What do you do when you are the head of an adviser firm that has bas been shortlisted for a plethora of awards at a prestigious industry event but unable to attend the affair?
For Joel Adams, founder of LIFT Financial which was up for four out of a possible six gongs at the Financial Adviser Life & Pension Awards, the answer was to send a barrage of messages to his colleagues Suzanne McGowan and Ella Davies, who were in attendance and also up for an award, demanding live updates from the proceedings.
It proved to be a busy afternoon for the duo who were seen frantically tapping away on their smartphones to update their boss on the latest developments – pausing only to collect their accolades after being awarded top prize in their respective categories.
