The manager of Leeds Building Society’s Sheffield branch has braved the harsh conditions of the Tough Mudder challenge to raise £1,400 for a cause close to her heart.

Charlotte Rafferty was joined by six friends and family to tackle the 12-mile challenge at Belvoir Castle in Grantham. The team fought their way through 25 testing obstacles in four hours and 45 minutes.

She raised £1,400 for The Harley Jae Trust, including £400 in matched funding from Leeds Building Society.

“The Harley Jae Trust was established in 2006 as a trust fund for my cousin who was born with an extremely rare condition, requiring long periods of care in hospital. Over the past few years, this has grown into an amazing, inspirational charity.”
