Lowes Financial Management is doing its bit for charity by making a donation to the Yorkshire group Chernobyl Aid UK, which will fund a lorry delivery of aid to sick and disabled children and adults in Belarus.

Lowes came into contact with the the charity 20 years ago, in connection with a Rotary initiative. More recently, one of Lowes’s clients, Alan Miles, the charity’s treasurer, brought it to the company’s attention.

Lowes senior consultant Peter Collins says: “I was so impressed that every penny of charity money goes to the transport of goods, we decided to fund a lorry’s trip to Belarus in support of this important humanitarian cause.”
