Old Mutual expands South East Asia team with sales appointment

Old Mutual Global Investors has announced the hire of Gerard Clancy as head of sales in its South East Asia division. Mr Clancy, who will be based in Singapore, joined the business at the beginning of July and reports to Carol Wong, managing director, Asia Pacific.

Dow Schofield Watts, a specialist professional advisory and equity finance firm, has appointed of David Smith as a corporate finance director in its Daresbury, Cheshire office.

GWM London has hired Tom Milson from Lloyds Private Banking as executive director with client and business management responsibilities.

Legal and General Investment Management has appointed Stephen Gray to the newly created role of head of wealth management. Mr Gray will report to Simon Hynes, head of UK retail sales.

First 4 Bridging, the bridging loan master broker and packager, has announced the appointment of Michelle Douglas as head of sales and marketing. She will be responsible for both the sales and marketing teams and reports to First 4 Bridging director, Donna Wells.

Kames Capital has hired Yasmine Ellis as business development manager within the firm’s UK wholesale distribution team. Ms Ellis will be based in Kames’ London office and will report into head of UK regional sales Mark Savage.

AXA Investment Managers has appointed John Stainsby as head of UK client group. Mr Stainsby joins from J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
