The Nottingham lowers rates by up to 0.29 per cent

Nottingham Building Society has cut the rates on 10 of its mortgages.

It has also launched three new remortgage only products and launched a further two new residential products.

The largest reduction is on a 90 per cent loan-to-value two-year fix with no booking or arrangement fee which has had its rate reduced by 29bps from 2.69 per cent to 2.40 per cent.

Meanwhile a 75 per cent LTV three-year fix has had its rate cut from from 2.19 per cent to 2.09 per cent and an 80 per cent LTV five-year fix has had its rate cut from 2.47 per cent to 2.24 per cent.

The new residential products are a 75 per cent five-year fix with a 2.20 per cent rate, a £199 booking fee and a £800 arrangement fee, as well as a 90 per cent two-year fix with a 1.99 per cent rate, a £199 booking fee and an £800 arrangement fee.

Meanwhile the new remortgage products are:

■70 per cent residential two-year fix; 1.80 per cent pay rate; no booking fee; no arrangement fee

■70 per cent residential five-year fix; 2.25 per cent pay rate; no booking fee; no arrangement fee

■75 per cent buy-to-let two-year fix; 2.64 per cent pay rate; no booking fee; no arrangement fee; free basic property valuation
