SimplyBiz launches adviser one-stop-shop

SimplyBiz has launched an end-to-end financial planning system which will bring its existing tools into one integrated service.

The system, called Centra, will be free for SimplyBiz members and offer financial planning tools, product research, suitability reports and a centralised investment process.

Centra has been in development for more than a year following demand for this development from SimplyBiz members.

Dan Russell, the managing director of SimplyBiz Investment Services, said: "The most important aspect of Centra for us is that it was designed and created based on the feedback of advisers.

"Our members told us they wanted greater efficiency in the advice process, a seamless link from financial planning to research and suitability reports, greater support in making suitable investment recommendations and suport to deliver a better customer experience.

"Centra delivers on every one of those requirements."

Mr Russell said that while Centra is a single system available through one log-in, SimplyBiz members will still be able to access each of its components separately if they do not wish to use it.

He said advisers will also be able to use SimplyBiz's central investment proposition or plug their own into it if they wish.

Mr Russell said SimplyBiz would help advice firms design and introduct their own CIP if they wanted this.

SimplyBiz created the service with Defaqto and Intelliflo, with some of Centra's component parts developed by Oxford Risk, Finametrica, Morningstar and Moody's.

Centra will be rolled out to members of SimplyBiz in the first quarter of 2018 and the company has said it will offer demonstrations and workshops at its upcoming events as well as an on-boarding team.
