Beaufort Financial hires head of advice

National advice firm Beaufort Financial has appointed a former Prudential adviser to replace Niall Humphreys, who is set to leave the company later this month.

In an update today (July 7) the advice firm confirmed Luke Mason had joined its ranks to oversee its advice business.

According to his Linkedin profile Mr Mason most recently worked at Retirement Line as its head of sales and prior to that spent almost five years at Age Partnership Wealth Management as an advice manager.

He also spent more than a year as a financial adviser at Prudential Financial Planning between 2014 and 2015.

As head of advice Mr Mason will replace Mr Humphreys, who is set to retire at the end of this month after more than 35 years in the industry.

Mr Mason said: "Demand for trusted financial advice has never been greater, so this is a fantastic time to be joining the Beaufort business.

"Niall has built a great proposition for Beaufort Financial clients during his time here and I look forward to taking on his mantle and playing my part in its continued development."

Derrick Dunne, chief executive at Beaufort Financial, said Mr Mason was the "perfect person" to work with the company's advisers.

Mr Dunne said: "The wealth of new experience and knowhow he brings will be invaluable as we look to further expand our service."
