Aviva names ex-Jupiter finance boss as CFO

Aviva names ex-Jupiter finance boss as CFO

Aviva has appointed Charlotte Jones as chief financial officer to take over from Jason Windsor who left the company in January.

Jones will takeover as CFO at the provider from September 5, subject to regulatory approval, and will also take on the title of executive director.

Jones joins from RSA Insurance where she was group CFO for nearly three years.

Prior to that, she was chief financial office of Jupiter Asset Management between 2016 and 2019.

Jones also carries years of experience from Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and EY.

Amanda Blanc, Aviva's group chief executive, said Jones "is a highly experienced CFO with an impressive track record across the insurance and asset management industries".

Blanc added: "She is an exceptional addition to Aviva and will play a central role as we accelerate our performance and grow."

According to the company announcement, Jones will be on a salary of £675,000.
