A four-strong team from a Buckinghamshire-based financial adviser has joined Evelyn Partners.

2hWealthcare provides financial planning and investment advice, and its managing partner, a financial planner and two support staff have joined Evelyn Partners as part of the group’s succession programme.

Evelyn Partners launched the succession scheme last year, which gives financial advisers approaching retirement the opportunity to migrate their clients to the company.

Head of strategic partnerships at Evelyn Partners, Richard Dawes, said the 2hWealthcare team have built a “great business” providing financial advice.

“This agreement means that their clients will continue to receive a high-quality, personalised service with the support and resources of the group and ability to access the additional range of expertise we can provide such as investment management and tax advice.

“We are continuing to see considerable interest in our succession programme as advisers approaching retirement look to provide a new home for their staff and clients.”

Managing partner and founder of 2hWealthcare, Steve Wilson, said the move is “fantastic” for him and the team.

“The clients of 2hWealthcare…will benefit from the wider experience and more extensive resources now available to them.

“I have been extremely impressed by the way Evelyn Partners has approached the integration of our businesses and [I] am excited at the potential for the future.”

At June 30, Evelyn Partners had £52.7mn in assets under management.
