Evelyn Partners bolsters Liverpool office with adviser addition

The founder of Gavin Tansey Financial Services has joined Evelyn Partners' Liverpool office.

Gavin Tansey joins the firm having worked as an adviser since 2000 and set up his Wirral-based business more than 12 years ago.

Evelyn head of strategic partnerships, Richard Dawes explained that Tansey is the eighth adviser, that runs their own business, to join the firm since 2021 after Evelyn launched an outreach programme.

The programme was set up for advisers to join either ahead of retirement or “because they see the benefits of being part of a group that has invested heavily in technology and has an unrivalled range of bespoke services”.

“At Evelyn Partners, Gavin will be able to continue to deliver excellent advice to his clients over the coming years but with the support of a well-resourced platform and a first-class investment management proposition,” Dawes added.

Tansey specialises in bespoke financial services for private clients, medical professionals, company directors and their corporate entities.

In joining Evelyn Partners he will be providing a continuing professional service to his clients.

Commenting on the move Tansey said: “I am delighted to have secured the future stability, provided by the resources of Evelyn Partners, for both my existing and prospective clients.

"I look forward to continuing to provide a personalised, bespoke service to all.”

Elsewhere, last week Evelyn Partners announced the appointment of David Rankin as managing partner of its Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices.
