True Potential has appointed Andrew Sibbald as non-executive deputy chairperson.

Sibbald has more than 35 years’ experience working in financial services, having advised a wide range of public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.

He has also previously served in other non-executive director roles, including on the board of HomeServe.

He said: “True Potential is an exceptional business that has rapidly achieved a unique position of strength within its industry.

“It is a privilege to be joining the board as deputy chairperson and I’m very much looking forward to working with Daniel and the team as the firm continues its exciting momentum.”

The new appointment will see Sibbald working closely with True Potential’s board, led by chairperson Sir David Harrison and chief executive Daniel Harrison, to support the growth and strategic development of the firm.

Harrison said: "Andrew brings vast experience of the financial services sector and, as we plan the next phase of our expansion, his knowledge and guidance will be vital.”
