Anderson was the manager of Scottish Mortgage since 2000. Since 2015 he has shared the role with Tom Slater, who will continue as manager alongside Lawrence Burns, the trust’s deputy manager.

Burns joined Baillie Gifford in 2009 and has co-managed the international concentrated growth strategy since 2017.
