Fidelity’s Dymott set to exit

Fidelity International's UK head of business development Ed Dymott is set to leave the company.

Mr Dymott has been with Fidelity since 2000, and has held a variety of roles during his 16 year career there after starting as a customer service associate.

His current role has included leading the strategic development of Fidelity International in the UK, as well as being a key spokesperson on platform issues.

He has also been in charge of representing Fidelity with regulators and industry bodies, and bringing new business lines such as retirement into the company.

Mr Dymott is also chairman of the UK Platform Group and the UK Fund Trading and Settlement group, a cross industry initiative to look at improving operational efficiency within fund distribution on behalf of Tisa, the Investment Association, The Wealth Management Association, The ABI and The UK Platform Group.

A spokesperson for Fidelity International said: “We can confirm that Ed Dymott has informed us he is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities and will be handing over his responsibilities in the next few months.

"Ed has contributed immensely to the success of our company and we wish him well in this new phase of his career.”
