Novia Global adds three DFMs to platform

Novia Global has added a number of discretionary fund managers to its platform as it looks to give advisers more choice.

The online wealth management service now offers model portfolios managed by Brooks Macdonald, Bordier & Cie, and LGT Vestra.

The portfolios will be fully integrated into the suite of online multi-currency platform tools and multiple product wrappers.

Richard Hughes, head of business development at Brooks Macdonald, said: “As advisers adapt their business approach to meet regulatory change and the ever-growing demand for technology-led solutions, platforms will play an increasingly important role."

The Novia Global integrated investment portal was launched in March this year with five DFMs: Marlborough, Smith & Williamson, Copia Capital Management, MitonOptimal and Tavistock Investments.

The portal allows advisers and discretionary fund managers to create and manage portfolios online, as well as providing the ability to perform portfolio scans on completed models, review performance and realign portfolios.

With the model portfolios integrated into the platform tools, Dave Field, head of customer service at Novia Global, said they will offer time and cost savings for intermediaries as well as providing a clear audit and reporting trail.
