Morningstar Investment Management Europe has appointed Mike Coop, of Prudential, to oversee its Emea multi-asset portfolios.
Mr Coop, who joins from Prudential Portfolio Management, will serve as head of multi-asset portfolio management in the region.
This role will see him chair the company's portfolio committee and serve as lead manager on the Morningstar Real Return managed portfolio range, with Emma Morgan working alongside him as portfolio manager.
Before joining Prudential Mr Coop worked as head of multi-asset strategies for Ibbotson Associates Australia, a business that was subsequently acquired by Morningstar.
He has also worked for the likes of BT Investment Management and Axa Investment Managers.
Morningstar Investment Management Europe chief investment office Dan Kemp said: "Mike is a seasoned investor with a strong track record of running real-return focused portfolios."
