GrowthInvest launches discretionary management service

GrowthInvest has launched a discretionary managed portfolio service to access companies that have passed its due diligence process.

Members of GrowthInvest's investment committee include GrowthInvest managing director Daniel Rodwell, Mark Brownridge, director general of EISA, Graeme Stenson, of Vestra Wealth, and corporate financier Stuart Jeffrey.

The service will go live as many of the larger funds begin to announce full capacity, offering a solution for investors and advisers still looking to commit funds prior to the tax year end on 5 April.

Daniel Rodwell, managing director of GrowthInvest, said: “Our new discretionary portfolio service offers regulated access to the most promising companies on the GrowthInvest platform.

“Each has been hand-selected by our experienced investment team, based on strength of concept and performance in our stringent due diligence process.

“We have an excellent pipeline of true opportunities and are delighted to bring the best of these to the market within an FCA regulated fund.”

Darius McDermott, managing director at Chelsea Financial Services, said: “A lot of EIS companies carry high risk. While the growth of such platforms is clear, these are not mainstream for the majority of IFAs and their clients.”
