TwentyFour's Kendall joins alts firm SQN

Dawn Kendall is to leave TwentyFour Asset Management, where she served as a partner and fund manager, to join alternatives specialist SQN Capital Management.

Ms Kendall joins in August as managing director at the firm, which runs the £387m SQN Asset Finance Income and £52m SQN Secured Income vehicles, and will focus on the latter in particular.

SQN chairman Neil Roberts said: "SQN is delighted to add to the team such a senior and experienced individual as Dawn, who brings a unique depth of asset and risk management expertise, having held senior roles as a manager of assets for both institutional and wealth clients.”

“We believe that SQN Secured Income has similar potential to provide reliable, positive returns over the long term to the SQN Asset Finance Income fund and welcome a leader who can realise this potential for SQN and our investors.”

Ms Kendall, who specialises in fixed income, has previously worked for the likes of Investec Wealth & Investment, Architas and Newton.
