Assets at Schroders increased by £34bn in the third quarter of 2017, reaching a new record high.
In an update to the London Stock Exchange, the investment management company said it now had assets under management of £419.6bn.
Most of the growth was in the institutional side of the business, where assets increased from £226.3bn to £247.4bn.
On the intermediary side, assets increased from £120bn to £128bn.
In the update Schroders said: “We continued to generate growth in the business in the first nine months of the year, with assets under management and administration increasing 9 per cent to £430bn.”
Intermediary flows at Schroders have been struggling recently, with net outflows of £1.2bn from that side of the business in the first half of 2017 owing to £5.2bn in sub-advised mandate redemptions.
And last year Schroders reported net redemptions from its intermediary channel of £2.9bn as macro uncertainty and volatile markets impacted demand.
