Aviva Investors has launched a UK onshore version of its £544m Global Endurance fund.
The Luxembourg version of the product, managed by Giles Parkinson, returned 12.5 per cent over the year to 31 December, which is the first year of existence for the fund.
The fund manager Giles Parkinson, has said the investment style of the fund is based on buying large cash generative companies to own for the long-term.
This is the style of investment deployed by high-profile fund managers Nick Train and Terry Smith, among others, and has its roots, according to Mr Parkinson, in the investment style of Warren Buffett.
