Their hope is that, at some point after these elections there will be “a return to rationality and perhaps even a market driven more by fundamentals and less by the White House”.
In the meantime, they are proceeding with caution and in the expectation that things could remain bumpy over the summer months.
With developed market central bank policy now converging and changing direction, we are starting to head into the unknown once again with quantitative tightening.
