Clients more worried about Labour than Brexit

Liz Field, chief executive of the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (Pimfa), has said its members' clients are not asking about Brexit, but about how to prepare for a Labour government.

In this week's episode of FTAdviser's podcast, Ms Field discussed why Brexit mattered to its members and the reason Pimfa continued to push for a transitional period.

She also talked about why advisers should be preparing, rather than panicking, about the Senior Managers and Certification Regime which is due to come into effect in December 2019.

Finally, she addressed Mifid II and how to have an open and honest conversation with clients.

Each week, FTAdviser will be joined by a guest from the industry to discuss the week in news.
