Jupiter finance boss exits

The chief financial officer at fund house Jupiter is leaving to join insurer RSA.

Charlotte Jones will leave in August 2019 or before, to take up the new role, and will be at the helm when the fund management business delivers its annual results on March 1.

She has been a non executive director of RSA since April 2018.

Ms Jones previously worked in finance roles at Credit Suisse, and prior to that spent just less than a decade at Deutsche Bank, and was a partner at Ernst and Young.

Maarten Slendebroek, outgoing chief executive of Jupiter, said: "Charlotte has been a valued colleague since joining Jupiter in 2016 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her, on behalf of the board, for her commitment and contribution during this time.

"It is always disappointing to lose someone of Charlotte's calibre, but I understand that a move to a FTSE 100 CFO role is a great opportunity and I wish her all the best."

Mr Slendebroek himself is due to depart Jupiter in March after five years at the helm, and is being replaced by former Henderson boss Andrew Formica, who left the latter in 2017.
