Chase De Vere to provide advice to surgeons

National advice firm Chase De Vere has sealed a deal with the Royal College of Surgeons to provide financial advice to its members.

Under the terms of the agreement, members and fellows of the college will be able to access independent advice on investments, protection, and estate planning, and on the NHS pension scheme.

The Royal College of Surgeons has 27,000 members in the UK and overseas.

The services will be provided by Chase De Vere Medical, a subsidiary of the advice firm which was established in July 2018 to target medical professionals and provide them with what the company believes is a tailored service to the needs of the medical profession.

Chase de Vere will also provide bespoke retirement planning seminars and access to financial articles and guides which are specifically designed for medical professionals.

The subsidiary signed an agreement to work with members of Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management in April 2019, and the wider Chase De Vere Group has had a partnership with the British Medical Association since 2005.

Andrea Sproates, head of Chase De Vere Medical, said: "We are really pleased to be working with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

"It is a vastly respected professional body and its members play a crucial role in delivering the UK’s healthcare services.

"We are committed to providing their members with expert advice, informative events and access to information to help them make the most of their retirement planning and their wider personal finances."
