RBS Intermediary Partners reintegrated with NatWest

RBS Intermediary Partners (RBSIP) has reintegrated with NatWest Intermediary Solutions (NWIS) with immediate effect.

The reintegration will mean that from Friday 18 May RBSIP will offer only NatWest branded mortgage products to members of Tenet, PTFS and Ingard who use it.

Graham Felstead, head of intermediaries at NatWest, said: "We are pleased to welcome back the brokers from Tenet, PTFS & Ingard and looking forward to continuing to build on these relationships as we look to help more customers with their mortgage needs."

Brokers who were aligned to RBSIP will now benefit from the new NWIS business development manager partnership model.

A spokesman from RBS said field and phone-based BDMs had a dedicated support team to ensure the transition wassimple and has little impact for customers.

Martin Stewart, director at London Money, said: "I think most people hadn’t necessarily realised there were two different brands operating – I for one only really recognised Natwest for being a support in the intermediary market.

"I think anything that helps make it clearer and cleaner for the consumer and the wider industry to understand who and what entity is behind their mortgage can only be a good thing."
