Accord launches adviser resource centre

Accord Mortgages has launched an online resource hub for advisers looking to grow their businesses.

The intermediary arm of Yorkshire Building Society is offering brokers its whole suite of tools, guides and support material previously available on a one-off basis.

This includes an online tool to generate emails requesting customer reviews, advice on using social media to raise the profile of firms and a guide on buy-to-let tax rules.

Its latest update focuses on how small and medium sized businesses can make a success of recruitment, including template job descriptions, guides to posting jobs on LinkedIn, useful interview questions and advice about embedding new starters.

Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, said: "The growth series offers insights that are valuable to brokers whatever their firm’s size or type. It’s great to see a lender putting such effort into helping intermediaries."

Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediary distribution at Accord Mortgages, said: "We’re absolutely delighted by the impact our growth series has had and making the complete suite of material available to subscribers will be a great service.

"The feedback from brokers has been brilliant and in the coming months we’ll be adding further resources to support their needs beyond the day-to-day mortgage process."
