Broker launches specialist lending packager

The managing director of broker Cardiff Money has brought to market a packager to help clients with their specialist lending needs.

Daniel Yeo's The Specialist Finance Centre officially launched to the wider market on Friday (April 12).

The firm currently trades from Cardiff but plans to have a nationwide presence offering second charge mortgages, bridging finance, commercial, development finance and buy-to-let mortgages to clients of intermediaries.

SFC has a specialist panel of lenders and will offer and advise clients on those products once introduced by the broker.

Mr Yeo (pictured) said: "In a competitive market place we provide a brand that will live by its three core values: integrity, collaboration and determination.

"Most importantly it does what it says on the tin. A company that introducers can go to with their client’s specialist finance requirements, relaxed and safe in the knowledge their clients will be looked after by seasoned professionals with their clients' and their interests at hearts.

"Particularly, we are keen to work with mortgage brokers, both directly authorised and those appointed representatives within networks who are allowed to step off panel if they feel in their client’s interests."

Mr Yeo said SFC had a strong and loyal base already and that he was delighted to be in a position to offer its services to the wider intermediary market place.

The venture is a joint project between Mr Yeo and Andy Fairclough from I-Commercial Finance. ICF specialises in real estate for commercial and development projects.

Mr Fairclough said: "Creating a partnership with Dan and his brand was a fairly quick decision but we have both been careful in the preparation of getting it ready for launch.

"Joining the two firms will allow both companies to share resources in terms of staff, technology and process and ultimately provide the intermediary market with a rounded suite of specialist finance products."
