Scottish Widows reveals transformation plans

He said the great thing with modern technology was things can be changed swiftly – it is no longer like the days of thousands of brochures being printed off and being out of date if a change is made.

But he said the risk with making too many changes is as soon as an adviser gets used to one thing then something else is amended and advisers could struggle to keep up with what is the current proposition.

Mr Trenner said the changes made by Scottish Widows were therefore good but communication of any amendments made were vital to avoid confusion.
