Ever since pension simplification back in 2006 we have seen a fundamental shift in the market for small self-administered schemes (Ssases) and self-invested personal pensions (Sipps). Ultimately this has brought us to the position we are in today where, from a regulatory perspective, the two products are seen as very different.
