FCA charges proposals to 'confuse consumers'

Mr Glancy said: "We need keep the IGC completely distinct from the provider, they need to be completely independent so they can challenge the provider on the customers’ behalf.

"If they get pulled into the role of communicating information directly, they start to get pulled to become part of the preposition, and then they lose their independence."
