Royal London partners with Post Office for life products

Post Office Money has teamed up with Royal London as it looks to launch a fresh product range this year.

The British insurance giant has partnered with Post Office Money to give customers a wider choice of life insurance products and simplify the application process.

Post Office Money said the move is a “major step” in growing its life business as the business looks to improve and expand its range of products.

The provider also hopes the partnership will allow it to boost the accessibility of its products across new digital channels.

Rob Clarkson, managing director of Post Office Money Insurance, said: “Through our new partnership with Royal London, we are developing products that offer our customers more choice in how they are protected.”

New and improved products will be accessible in some Post Office branches, through the UK-based call centre and online.

Mr Clarkson said the firm has been able to simplify the application process for Post Office products and make it easier for customers to find the right policy to meet their needs.

Jerry Toher, chief executive of Royal London’s Consumer Division, said the partnership means the firm can continue to develop products that offer better value for money and fairer outcomes for consumers.

Over the past 18 months, Post Office Money Insurance has been investing in all aspects of its insurance business, including developing its own customer support centre.
