The business consultants, five of whom have joined Chase de Vere from Wesleyan, will work in hospitals and GP practices around the UK, providing tailored briefings and seminars.

The team will be managed by Caroline Waters, who is also from Wesleyan. They will work hand-in-hand with Chase de Vere’s independent financial advisers, including a 60-strong team of advisers who work exclusive with members of the British Medical Association (BMA).

Chase de Vere is the only financial adviser firm recommended by the BMA and has provided advice to over 11,000 BMA members.

Specialist advisers are trained to provide financial advice in the context of career paths in the medical profession and the NHS Pension Scheme.

Stephen Kavanagh, chief executive of Chase de Vere, said: “These appointments underline our position as the number one financial advice firm for the medical profession.

"The combination of having a large team of specialist advisers, combined with our independent advice proposition which is endorsed by the British Medical Association, provides a market-leading solution.

"With Caroline and her team members having joined us, our financial advice services will soon be available to even more medical professionals."
