Tenet adds webinars to development programme

Tenet has added 12 webinars to its 2017 adviser development programme, covering topics such as investments, mortgages, pensions and protection.

Each webinar offers 30 minutes of structured CPD and, with the inclusion of annual testing, advisers can access 35 hours of structured CPD for chartered status from Tenet, with 21 hours from the events in the adviser development programme.

Helen Ball, Tenet’s group distribution and development director, said: “Our events provide everything advisers need to stay on the front foot and meet their CPD requirement.

“With this year’s addition of the webinars and the new events app, we have again taken our adviser development programme to the next level, providing a valuable resource for both our existing appointed representative and directly authorised firms, as well as any advisers from across the industry who would like to sample the support available through Tenet.”

The 102-event schedule opened in Manchester on 7 February with the first of three rounds of professional development meetings, focusing on pension switching, DB transfers, income protection and multi-asset investing.

These will be complimented by two rounds of masterclasses: eight on a post-budget-theme in the second quarter and a further eight in the third quarter concentrating on specialist investments.

New for 2017 are two sets of non-investment roadshows, aimed at mortgage and protection advisers, combining formal presentations with interactive round table sessions.

There will also be six business focus events for investment, pension and protection advisers to complete the programme.

Every face-to-face event will be supported by a new Android, iOS and web-based app developed by Tenet to enhance the adviser experience and give access to event information and networking opportunities.

The app will allow advisers to log-in before, during and after each individual event, evaluate content, receive important updates and review specific presentations.
