FundsNetwork poaches Australian exec for advice role

FundsNetwork has appointed Jackie Boylan as head of advisory services.

She will will take responsibility for the management and development of the service and experience that FundsNetwork delivers to advice firms.

Ms Boylan has joined FundsNetwork from BT Financial Group, a subsidiary of Westpac Group, and one of Australia’s leading wealth management companies.

Pat Shea, head of FundsNetwork, said: “The appointment of Jackie demonstrates our ongoing commitment to investing in the business so that we can continue to provide advisory firms with dedicated support.

“Australia has a well-developed platform market so we are delighted to be able to leverage Jackie’s considerable business and management experience for the business and our clients.

Ms Boylan has held a wide variety of management positions over the course of her 22 years with BT Financial Group, including head of platform sales and key accounts from 2008 to 2011 and more recently as the head of customer relations.

FundsNetwork, which is owned by Fidelity, has more than £69bn in assets under administration.
