Two advice firms join European IFA trade body

Warwick Road Financial Services and Affinity Financial Consultancy are the latest advice firms to join the Federation of European IFAs (Feifa).

In a statement published today (7 June) Feifa confirmed that the two UK-based firms are its newest members, taking the total number of members to 44.

Paul Stanfield, the chief executive of Feifa, said the new additions were a sign of the increasingly relevant benefits that the association provides to advice firms, particularly in terms of helping UK advisers.

“Despite a number of mergers and acquisitions within our membership over the last few months, Feifa now has more member firms than ever before.”

Mr Stanfield also said there are a number of new membership applications in the pipeline, which are currently going through the due diligence process.

Feifa, which has recently redesigned its website, includes English-speaking advisory businesses, which together advise on assets amounting to €4bn (£3.5bn).

Over recent months, the trade body has partnered with a number of international life companies, asset managers and pension companies.
