Young to step aside as Threesixty MD

Phil Young will step aside as managing director of Threesixty Services in September.

He will be replaced by Russell Facer who is currently the company’s compliance director.

From 1 September Mr Young will become strategy adviser to Threesixty while Laura Chuck, the company’s finance director, will expand her role.

Mr Young said the move would give him more time to focus on another consultancy business.

He said: “Threesixty is in better shape than ever and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 14 years. It is the right time for me to take a step back.

“I’ve worked alongside Russell for 20 years and Laura for almost as long. This new role allows me to keep working with them and the team we have built.

“It also gives me the time to have more involvement in a different type of consultancy business focussed on strategic business support, building on the non-exec, succession and mergers and acquisition work I’ve been involved in lately.”

From September Ms Chuck will extend her role to finance and operations director while Gary Crossley and Paul Simcock will join her and Mr Facer on the executive team.

Mr Facer said “We have a fantastic team and client base, that is well positioned for the industry's exciting and sometimes challenging, time ahead.

“It is good to be retaining Phil's strategic insight and maintaining our long established relationship.

“I look forward to taking the helm and working with the team to enhance future value for clients.”

Before joining Threesixty, which is owned by Standard Life, in 2003 Mr Young was commercial manager at Bankhall.
