Black Book and Beaufort team up

Black Book has established a fully white-labelled version of its services and the new offering has been set up exclusively for national IFA network Beaufort Group’s partners.

Beaufort Capital Solutions will provide services for all manner of residential, commercial, development and business financial on an advised or referral basis.

Founded in 2012 Beaufort Group’s network of IFAs has approaching £700m of client funds under management, and comprises 55 partner companies.

Clive Willson will head up the initiative on behalf of Beaufort Group.

Michael Clapper, co-founder and chairman at Black Book, said: “Beaufort Group is highly successful and growing fast, and the requirement for a fully-branded finance department makes perfect sense. We are all very excited by the potential of this bespoke initiative.”

Simon Goldthorpe, founder and chairman of Beaufort Group, said: “As a growing team of high performance wealth managers, our focus and expertise lies in advising our clients on their investments.

"But our clients have financial requirements too, and in the past we have been reluctant to refer them to third parties outside the group.

"I have worked with both Clive Willson and Michael Clapper and different times in the last, and I believe they make the perfect team to launch and develop this important client service for us.”
