Financial advice and investment management firm Frenkel Topping has appointed a new chief financial officer.

Stephen Bentley has joined the firm as CFO, replacing Julie Dean who leaves the company after more than 10 years’ service in the role.

Mr Bentley, age 64, brings more than 30 years of senior and board experience gained at public and private sector jobs to the role.

Since March 2009 he has been the group finance director of industrial textile manufacturer Jade Equity, which has interests in the USA and Europe.

Before joining Jade, Mr Bentley spent a decade at Brunner Mond Group as group finance director, being involved in the company’s flotation on the LSE.

Jason Granite, executive chairman of Frenkel Topping, said: "I am absolutely delighted that Stephen Bentley has agreed to join the board as our new finance director.

I have known Stephen for over 15 years and his experience and knowledge will undoubtedly add significant value to our growth plans as we take the company to the next level."

Frenkel Topping provides specialist independent financial advice and asset management services for clients, many of whom have had catastrophic injuries.
