Celebrity financial adviser faces rape trial

Financial adviser Frank Cochran will be tried for rape in 2018, it has been agreed.

The director of Wolverhampton-based FSC Investment Services appeared in court yesterday (9 October) where a date was fixed for his trial.

He has denied a charge of rape, three of sexual assault, one of harassment and another of controlling or coercive behaviour after being charged in August.

Mr Cochran will be tried at Stafford Crown Court on 3 April 2018.

The 59-year-old, of Church Eaton in Staffordshire, is also a director of Celebrity Financial Planning.

Through CFP, which he founded in 2008, Mr Cochran became famous for providing financial advice to celebrities such as Premier League footballers.

One of his high profile clients was former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona who hired him to help her find her missing millions.
