Lighthouse to advise Money Advice Service employees

Lighthouse Group has renewed its contract to provide financial advice to the employees of the Money Advice Service.

The contract is being renewed for a further year from 15 April 2018 and under the terms Lighthouse will be the preferred provide of financial advice on savings, investments, pensions and protection, plus mortgages.

Jon Penberthy-Smith, customer director at the Money Advice Service, said: "We are very pleased to have renewed this contract with Lighthouse, as this will enable our employees to continue to access financial planning assistance across a broad range of financial topics and will help them to make the most of their own financial planning opportunities."

Lighthouse already has similar contracts in place with other employee organisations, including Unison, Prospect, The Fire Brigades Union and the Royal College of Nursing.

Malcolm Streatfield, chief executive of Lighthouse, said: "The board is delighted that we have renewed this partnership with the Money Advice Service.

"We look forward to further developing our relationship over the coming months and working closely with Money Advice Service employees, who themselves are dedicated to helping others, and to assisting them with their overall financial planning requirements.

"The board remains committed to developing further our affinity partnerships throughout the UK."

Earlier this week Lighthouse renewed its contract with the Royal College of Nursing for a further three years.
